Garen is a technology expert with over 23 years at Deloitte. He has worked with leading clients in various sectors, including Hospitality, Banking, and Governmental Organisations and internal stakeholders across Asia Pacific and wider Global Team.
Throughout his career, he has led cross-functional teams, managed large-scale projects, and implemented advanced solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable results.
His expertise encompasses infrastructure, cloud computing, cloud first strategy and cloud migration, cybersecurity, software development and next-generation firewalls.
Garen also serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific (with over 5,000 partners and 100,000 professionals across 23 geographies including
Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Taiwan). He oversees the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc, Hons) in Computing Science from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK and is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
