
NVTC highlights Mason’s essential role in workforce development and regional economic growth under President Washington’s leadership.
MCLEAN, Va., July 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the region’s leading technology business association, today released a formal statement of support for George Mason University (Mason) and its president, Dr. Gregory Washington. NVTC notes that Mason’s progress under Dr. Washington has included significant growth in research capacity, deeper partnerships with private industry, and expanded pathways to opportunity for students from all backgrounds.
